Interdisciplinary Document Processing Based on the MeDoc Service

The goal of the InterDoc Project is to continue work done in the MeDoc project. The technology and infrastructure created in MeDoc should be carried over to the Global-Info initiative. The works (books and journals) already converted to electronic format should be made available to Global-Info. They shall be evaluated by users of different sciences not having participated in MeDoc and compared to alternate tools. Further, the publishing houses shall be provided with statistical information about the usage of the material offered in the MeDoc Service. After the end of the project, a well founded opinion should be formed about the suitability of the MeDoc Service for an interdisciplinary electronic subject information system.

Anbindung Physik-Datenbanken

Dieses Dokument beschreibt mögliche Vorgehensweisen bei der Einbindung von existierenden Datenbeständen der Physik in das Medoc-System. Es werden Datenbestände aufgezählt, die für die Physik von Bedeutung sind und bei jedem der Datenbestände wird die Möglichkeit betrachtet, ihn in das Medoc-System einzbringen. Falls dies Anpassungen des Medoc-Systems erfordert, soll eine Aufwandsabschätzung gegeben werden.
